We had a fantastic morning celebrating Father's Day at Palmers Cross.
Before school staff ensured that breakfast would be ready.
When the fathers arrived with their children they enjoyed breakfast along with some board games.
Once breakfast had been eaten, the fun continued with a game of football outside.
Fathers finished off their visit by having a photograph taken with their children.
At Palmers Cross we took the opportunity to celebrate both the Queen's 90th birthday and St Georges day on Friday 22nd April. We spent the week looking at British values in our assemblies each day and the children spent time discussing them and putting them into practice during their school day.

The children worked really hard during Science Day to make a rocket.
They had a fantastic time racing their rockets to find out who had the fastest rocket within their year group.
On completing the science behind the rockets (stream lining their rockets to make them go even faster), the children recorded their results using a variety of mathematical skills.
