We wowed our parents with our Space Gallery. We showed off: our moon buggies, our Topic books, PowerPoints and e-Books.

Today we had our inspiration day to launch our Paddington's space mission topic.
We helped Paddington go to the moon by making rockets and testing how far they would go.
Liam decided his rocket would go the furthest because it had less tissue paper which made it lighter.
He was correct in his prediction! Well done Liam.
We did a space dance with Paddington on the moon and in the afternoon had tickly fun making footprint alien paintings. It was messy! What a great day we had!

Class 5 enjoyed their Africa Day. They have created African jewellery, African masks, research African cuisine, designed an African flag and completed some African weaving.

Class 4 are started their topic in style by dressing up as music legends and learning about music through the ages! These are just some of the amazing costumes!
We have linked our topic and English learning by writing non-chronological reports about The Beatles. We have experimented with different layouts and adding sentences to engage the reader.

Class 2 have taken part in some exciting bush tucker trials as part of their topic inspiration day, ready to start their Rumble in the Jungle learning!

The children really enjoyed our local walk. We looked at the different types of houses we had been learning about. We also looked what other provisions were in our local community. The children were really well behaved and stayed safe through out the trip. They enjoyed taking it in turns on the local park.
All staff hope you had a Merry Christmas and wish you a very Happy New Year. We look forward to seeing the children safely back in school on Tuesday 7th January 2020!

The children were joined by their friends and family who stayed after the performance to enjoy homemade mince pies whilst enjoying some Christmas craft.

The children have focused upon the importance of wellbeing and the ways they can achieve wellness within themselves. They have then created their own feelings wheel and considered the ways and strategies they can use in order to deal with these emotions and feelings.
