Class 6 Diversity Day

Writer's picture: Palmers CrossPalmers Cross

As part of Diversity Day, we’ve been exploring the diversity of people’s brains and gaining a deeper appreciation for how everyone thinks and learns differently.

We designed our own cupcakes to demonstrate how everyone is unique and we celebrated our personal strengths.

We also participated in disability sports, giving us a chance to experience adaptive activities first-hand.

Finally, we began looking at the similarities and differences between British Sign Language and Makaton. Then we learned how to tell someone our name with the aid of Makaton.
